With a fresh perspective and a new set of design guardrails from ODU, we developed a refined brand identity that respects the institute’s history while positioning it for the future. The new icon simplifies the concept into a bold, modern “V,” featuring an autonomous craft soaring through the mark to represent innovation, movement, and exploration. The updated logotype shifts emphasis toward the institute’s core focus areas — “Spaceflight” and “Autonomy” — creating stronger clarity and recognition for what VISA actually does. The result is a confident, forward-looking identity that feels connected to the original brand while elevating the institute into its next chapter.
